Changes to the innogy go! Regulations

We want our cars to be both comfortable and safe to drive. To this end, we are taking measures to reduce the number of dangerous behaviours while traveling with innogy go!

We want our cars to be both comfortable and safe to drive. To this end, we are taking measures to reduce the number of dangerous behaviours while traveling with innogy go!

What exactly have we done?

  • We have introduced an age limit for registering in the service. Now, it can be used after the age of 22 years old.

We have made this decision with regret, but consciously, because young drivers under 22 are causing more than 60% of accidents in the innogy go! fleet.

  • We now monitor every drive and the user's driving style.

There are strict consequences for users who grossly violate traffic rules. In accordance with the Regulations, they may be subject to penalties or even excluded from using the service altogether.

  • We charge the costs of abnormal behaviour

Users are held responsible for issued tickets, placed wheel clamps or towing a car parked illegally.

How are these activities reflected in the Regulations?

In our Regulations we have introduced, among others, the following changes:

  • The user must be at least 22 years old,
  • We are defining a more precise point of our Terms and Conditions about the end of rental,
  • We set the rules for charging the clients with penalties for towing a car by tow truck because of empty battery.

The full text of the Regulations can be found HERE.

Changes to the Regulations will be effective from August 9th, 2019 for new Users and from August 23rd, 2019 - for Users who have registered in the innogy go service! before August 9th, 2019.

If you do not agree to the new terms and conditions and do not wish to use the innogy go! service, send us your notice of termination by e-mail to kontakt@innogygo.pl by August 22nd, 2019.

We encourage you to follow important rules while on the road:

Drive responsibly

BMW i3 is a very dynamic car, so please drive it carefully. Remember to stay safe and be mindful of others. Follow traffic regulations, including speed limits.

Park in permitted parking spots only

Do not end your rental on private premises or in places with limited access, such as car parks belonging to shops or shopping malls, underground or closed parking spaces with barriers.

Do not park at the charging station if you are not charging your car

The charging stations are to be used by all users of electric cars. Therefore, if you do not charge your car, do not block the parking space at the station.

innogy go! cars are a shared good, so let's all take care of them

If you notice that someone is not taking care of an innogy go! car properly - by dangerously manoeuvring on the road, parking in a prohibited place or even smoking in the car - report it to our hotline: 22 212 60 90.

Have a safe journey!
